My best shading job well, ever. I am so very happy with how this came out.
I gave up using the q-tip for large areas and resorted to toilet paper (which actually works better than tissue paper). Made a huge difference in blending. Naturally, there are a couple things off, but for the most part, it is nearly exactly like the picture, proportions-wise. I'm completely in love with the crown. I'm very proud of Arwen's smile- it took a while to get right. Aragorn's mouth bugged me quite a bit (he really needs to close his mouth XD). I'm in love with his armor too, though not as much as the crown. Whole thing took around 10ish hours, and I worked on and off on it for the last 3 or so weeks. The crown and armor took like, 3 hours in itself, the hair took a while, and I remember the actual sketch before the shading was done took a bit less than 2 hours to perfect. Very happy with this. I'm finally starting to improve in my shading ^^ |
